The Old Garden Roses by nati The Old Garden Roses by nati
Mademoiselle Rose is a graphic novel I'm currently working on. It is based on a short tale written by Estelle Valls de Gomis and - hopefully because I'm very late with it :) - it will be out this summer in France from Editions du Riez.

Technique: markers, watercolors, colored pencils and white gouache on paper
Size: 29,7 x 42 cm

And a personal tribute to the marvelous French Baroque Painting!

The original of 'Old Garden Roses' is at Emerald City ComicCon, booth 2903 across from the art exhibit in room 305 on the Gaming Floor - Krab Jab Studio! - SOLD -

Prints available on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/girlwithflax…

Finally I was hoping when Jean-Honore Frágonard would be reconised!!
I'm glad you based it off The Meeting because that's one of my favorite paintings by him!
The Meeting is part of a series called The Progress of Love which is really sweet.
Anyway, amazing work and the way you made the dress and the feet is exactly like the actual painting's! :D

Ah, I love his pictures so much and the 18th century French Painting as well! This's my humble homage to Fragonard's work :)
