Mademoiselle Rose is a graphic novel I'm currently working on. It is based on a short tale written by Estelle Valls de Gomis and - hopefully because I'm very late with it :) - it will be out this summer in France from Editions du Riez.

This is a portrait of the main female character, Rose.

You will find concept art, character designs, sample panels, etc, etc I made and I'm making for the book there:

My goodness, this is just perfect. It has the natural grace and otherworldliness of painting masters from centuries ago, mixed with the fresh and youthful approach of today. The character is unique and deep, and I'd love to explore that magical world a little deeper. Fantastic art! :star:
